Payment
- Payment is accepted via PayPal . If you don’t have a PayPal account, you may pay using your credit card through PayPal’s secure checkout.
- After you submit an order form, we will e-mail you to discuss your design.
- A deposit of 50% is required to place your order in the design queue.
- Payment for any purchased illustrations will be due at the time they are purchased by the designer.
- The balance of your quote is due upon approval of your final design. At that time, your site will be installed within 72 hours, unless otherwise specified in writing.
- If we have not yet started on your design, you may request a full refund, minus the prices of any digital kits or illustrations we have already purchased for use in your design.
- Due to the nature of service, no refunds will be issued after your project has been started.
- If the project is cancelled once work has started, there will be a cancellation fee of 50% of the remaining balance.
Timeline
- After you have submitted your design order form, we will email you with the estimated start date for your project.
- That estimate is as accurate as possible. Please note that your design date may be bumped up or down a few days depending on circumstances with other clients, but we will always notify you of that.
- Please note that in the event your design start date is pushed back for over a week, we are still unable to issue refunds (but we may give you some free stuff for being patient!)
- After work on your design has started, your first design mock-up will be provided to you within 4 days. All drafts after this will be provided within 1-2 days of your reply with your needed edits.
- The entire design process could take anywhere from 3-21 days (usually on the shorter end of this!), depending on number of edits and your availability.
- Once your final design is approved, installation is guaranteed to be complete within 72 hours.
Communication
- Email is our preferred method of communication. You can always reach us at: heather@bubbamack.com
- We strive to maintain an open line of communication between the hours of 10am and 10pm Central time. If you do not receive a response to an inquiry within 3 business days, please re-send your email.
- Your frequent email availability is vital during the time of your design! Your ability to respond quickly to our emails with your design edits is what keeps your design moving!
- Please try to respond to all emails within 5 days. If we do not hear from you within that time period, your design could be bumped to a later date to avoid delays with other clients!
- If you are going to be out of town or unavailable at any point during your scheduled design, just be sure to let us know and we will make arrangements!
Design
- Each client will receive up to 4 drafts on their designs. If more drafts are necessary, it may be necessary to complete the creative brief with more detailed information so we can make sure that all parties are on the same page.
- Try to keep all edits for each draft in one email to avoid confusion.
- Turnaround time for each draft is within 4 days, unless otherwise specified ahead of time.
- Installation is included in all design packages, and therefore you may not install any of your design elements yourself.
- All graphics and layouts provided for you to use on your blog are property of BubbaMack Design.
- You may not reproduce designs and HTML for other URL’s yourself, but I would be happy to do that for you for a $40 fee!
- Drafts will not be installed until final payment is received and final draft is approved by you!
- Business Logos will be provided to you in the file formats of: JPEG, PNG, and PSD in both color and black & white formats. Once the final logo design is approved and final payment is received, you will own full rights to your logo.
- Aside from business logos, all design files will be provided for you in PNG or JPEG (flattened) format only.
- Aside from business logos, all graphics, layouts, and HTML are the sole property of BubbaMack Design!
- If you are in need of help setting up any sidebar content, widgets/gadgets, or any other extras in your blogs sidebar or content area, we would be happy to help. We will install up to 5 widgets at no additional charge at the time of installation (not including those covered in the design). After the first 5, installation will be billed hourly at a rate of $35. We will not start doing the set-up until you have approved the time quote we give you.
- BubbaMack Design reserves the right to include our link and/or button in your design template for all complete designs. Please don’t remove them!
Compatibility
- Each of our designs are tested for cross-browser compatibility, meaning we ensure it will display properly in the most current versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. We cannot guarantee that your design will display properly in outdated or future versions of any web browser, but we will try to help you out with any issues to the best of our ability upon request! If you experience a problem in a particular browser after installation, please contact us as soon as possible so we can research any known issues and solutions.
Content and Backups
- BubbaMack Design is not responsible for any loss or damage to your blog or website content during installation or any time thereafter. Generally, your content will remain undisturbed during the installation of your design, but we will do whatever possible to help you restore any content in the unlikely event that any is lost. As a pro-active measure, we will complete a site backup prior to beginning any work to prevent loss of information.
- BubbaMack Design will keep a copy of all blog graphics, layouts, and HTML. If for any reason your design is ever lost or damaged, contact us for reinstallation assistance!
Privacy
- Your privacy is very important to us. Often we will request your user name and password to various accounts. These will be kept strictly confidential and never shared with anyone else for any reason, and will only be used for the purpose of installing your blog design, or general updates or maintenance per your request. You are welcome to temporarily change your password(s) while working with us!
- If you are uncomfortable sharing your username and password, you can set up a new administrator level user specifically for the time period of the installation.
SEO Services
- BubbaMack Design can not guarantee specific results from search engine optimization. While we will do everything we can to make sure your site is optimized for the best page rank and search engine results, it will ultimately be up to you to continue to pay attention to topics such as keywords, linking and other aspects of search engine success.
- BubbaMack Design will include tutorials with every site optimization to help you optimize your site on an ongoing basis. If you need additional assistance, you can email us at any time with your questions and we will respond within 3 business days.
