Thank you as I needed this about a week ago as I noticed I was doing this and my blog did not have anything I wanted or liked on it. Since then I have gotten back to my niche and started to include my family in the blog like my son who I do a Cooking section with. Now no matter who does or does not see my blog at least I am having fun and I know I am doing the best I can and that I will have new and fun content even if no one but me reads it.

I am glad you repaired your relationship as life is to short to be angry with some we Love. I know this as a fact as I lost my daughter when she was only 16. I am happy your mother is Cancer free and I will Pray she continues to be.

The flag might be lowered SOMEWHERE that often, but if you read the information on when a governor can order the flag lowered, you would see it’s for a soldier from that state. Not the point of my article, the point is that IF the flag is going to be lowered for an entertainer, it should then CERTAINLY be lowered if a solider from New Jersey is killed while serving.

Lowereing flag for fallen soilders and veterans is not logically. Take the emoiton out of this. If you were to do this, then the flag would be lowered every day. 365 days a year. A fallen soilder or veteran dies everyday.
Lowering flag should be for: major political figures and your local ones, cilvi rights/women’s rights/child rights leaders, US deaths like WTC, Challenger, God forbid something like these things happen again, memorial US days,holidays(Vets ,Memorial, etc.)
The flag should not be lowered for entertainers, sports figures, new reporters stars, writers,. Pretty simple.
Take out WH ‘s age, reason for death. She , Frank, Elvis were all entertainers. Each also , yeah, Frank Sinatar too, was very flawed. That is not impt. Thing is they were netertainers. Lowered Las Vegas hotel flags that are of each hotle’s trademark. Dim lights on Broadway. State flags or US flags, no.

The SOPA/PIPA issue is alarming indeed as it caused a lot of file sharing sites to temporarily disable their file sharing features. I am afraid that a simple download of an image can put you into Jail. If it gets approved, it will seriously affect the online marketing industry. We will also lose freedom on the internet which is a really sad thing. I just hope it won’t pass through.
