When you’re ready to get started, fill out our creative brief to start the process. This will give us some basic information regarding your site so we can send you an accurate quote for your design project. When you fill out this form, please be as specific as possible regarding your functionality requirements as well as your desired aesthetic result.
This will allow us to create a site that meets your needs and portrays the image you want to portray. Your website is often the first step in creating your own brand, it needs to be cohesive and unique. While we are able to complete designs where there is less information on the creative brief, this often results in a longer design process.
As soon as we have your detailed creative brief returned, we will invoice you for 50% of the total cost of the design, as well as any hosting fees (if you choose to purchase hosting through BubbaMack). This will secure your place in the design queue. The invoice you receive will contain the anticipated start date as well as the anticipated date for the first draft. You will not be officially placed into the design queue until this deposit is received.
Typically, within 4 days of the anticipated start date, you will receive a first draft. At this point, your job is to be brutally honest. We need to maintain open lines of communication through the design process to ensure the desired results.
Once the design is approved, we will upload the site to our test server. This is an opportunity for you to see what your site will look like once it’s uploaded and active. If you have any ads which need to be placed in certain locations and have size constraints, let us know this on the creative brief and we will upload those images to the test server so you can see how they will look on your site.
At this point, you will be invoiced for the balance of the original quote plus any illustrations which were added after the design was started. Payment of the balance serves as acceptance of the final design. Any changes made after the final approval may be charged at a rate of $35/hour.
Within 72 hours of your final payment, your site will be installed. Typically, we do this late at night to avoid any disruptions for your site visitors. If you need the site installed as soon as possible, let us know that and we will work to accommodate your needs.
